About

Province

Recently listed on the "Top Filipino Restaurants in the Bay Area" article by Soleil Ho of the San Francisco Chronicle, Province is an intimate dinner hosted by Chef Lee Opelinia in San Francisco, California. What began as a pop-up event in 2013 hosting larger groups in venues such as Naked Kitchen and The Majestic Hotel, both in San Francisco, has now evolved into a private dining experience. It is a way for Chef Lee to be creative with traditional Filipino cuisine by pulling inspiration from some of the well respected chefs he's worked for and the kitchens he's worked at. He creates a multi-course tasting menu with a focus on Filipino flavors and dishes he grew up eating. It is a true expression of who he is as a chef. Province is his food story.
